TDR Microflex
The TDR Miniflex is a professional Time Domain Reflec-tometer and Audio Frequency Generator designed to detect and locate faults on power cables and copper communication cables up to a distance of 6 km (19,000 ft).
Advanced signal processing techniques enable the TDR Miniflex to find opens, short circuits, splices, taps, water ingress and other more elusive impedance mismatches.
A built-in oscillator also provides an audio frequency tone for pair tracing and identification. Selectable cable imped-ance matching, along with variable velocity factor,
enable the TDR Miniflex to be used to test power and communication cables, including twisted pair and coaxial, with graphical results and fault distances displayed on a backlit 64 x 128 pixel LCD.
The TDR / Tone Generator is housed in a tough, rugged ABS plastic moulding, water and dust proof and supplied complete with test leads and a protective tool-belt holster. The TDR Miniflex is designed and manufactured to inter-national standards for quality, safety and reliability.
